Booking a desk in deskbird takes just a few taps or clicks: pick a date, find an available space on the floor plan, and confirm. You can also use filters to narrow down desks by floor, equipment, or zone type to find the best fit for your workday.
1. Before you start
To book a desk, you need access to at least one office in deskbird. If your company uses daily status planning, setting your status to Office for a day will prompt you to book a desk at the same time. You can also go directly to the Book tab to make a booking without setting a status first.
💡 If check-in is enabled at your company, remember to check in on the day of your booking to confirm your presence.
2. Find and book a desk
- Open the Book tab in the deskbird web, mobile, or MS Teams app.
- Select the date you want to book from the calendar view.
- Browse the floor plan or list view to find an available desk. Available desks are shown in green; unavailable ones are greyed out.
- Use Filters to narrow results by floor, equipment (e.g. dual monitors, standing desk), or zone type (e.g. quiet zone).
- Click or tap the desk you want to book.
- Review the booking details and click Confirm.
Your booking will appear in Bookings > Upcoming.
3. FAQs
There are two common reasons a desk may not be visible or selectable. First, the area may be restricted to a specific department or team that does not include you. Second, the desk may be permanently assigned to another person. In both cases, contact your office admin if you need access.
Use the Filters option to search for desks with similar equipment or in the same zone. You can also check other floors or areas that match your needs. If your company has saved your preferences as a favourite, check the Your spaces section for alternatives.
