If your plans change, you can cancel a deskbird booking at any time before it completes. Cancelling frees up the space for your colleagues and keeps the office overview accurate.
1. Cancel a booking
From the Bookings tab:
- Go to Bookings > Upcoming bookings.
- Find the booking you want to cancel.
- Click the trash bin icon or select Cancel booking.
- Confirm the cancellation when prompted.
From the Book tab:
- Navigate to the date of the booking in the Book tab.
- Click your booking in the left side panel or on the floor plan.
- Select Cancel booking and confirm.
2. What happens after cancellation
- The space is immediately made available for other colleagues to book.
- The booking is removed from your Upcoming bookings list.
- If check-in is enabled and you do not check in within the check-in window, your booking may be automatically cancelled by deskbird — no manual action is needed on your part in that case.
💡 Enable push or email notifications in your Notification settings to receive check-in reminders and avoid accidental auto-cancellations.
