The deskbird mobile app gives you the power of flexible workplace management right in your pocket. Book desks, manage your schedule, follow colleagues, and check in with just a few taps—anytime, anywhere.

In the Bookings tab, you can view, check in, or edit your reservations.

You can also navigate to the Book tab to:
Browse available desks, meeting rooms, or parking spots
Use filters like time, equipment, and floor plans
Quickly reserve your favorite spots
You can scan QR codes directly from the deskbird mobile app. This allows you to book a space or check in quickly.
Option 1 – via app interface: Open the deskbird app and tap the QR code icon in the top-right corner to access the scanner.
Option 2 – via app shortcut: Long-press the deskbird app icon and select "Scan QR Code" from the quick actions menu.
Once scanned, the app will guide you to either book the workspace or check in directly.
💡 Global and office admins, as well as (group) managers, can book on behalf of colleagues and view, edit, delete, or check in their bookings directly via the mobile app.

Make sure you are using the latest
app version as published in the
App Store
or
Play Store.
We release updates regularly to ensure
app stability and can only provide
support for the latest released versions.
To check for updates, open the app
store on your phone and look for
an Update button
next to the deskbird app.
This can happen when your company
uses MDM (Mobile Device Management)
or a VPN that restricts certain network
requests. To resolve this, ask your

No. The deskbird mobile app requires
an active internet connection to
load bookings, floor plans, and colleague
information. Make sure you are connected
to Wi-Fi or mobile data before using
the app.
The deskbird app may request the
following permissions depending on
which features are enabled by your
company:
Camera – Required
for scanning QR codes to book
a space or check in.
Location – Used
for automatic check-in via geolocation,
if enabled by your admin.
Notifications
– Allows the app to send push
notifications for booking reminders,
check-in reminders, and colleague
activity.
You can manage these permissions
at any time in your phone's system
settings.
If you are not receiving push notifications
from deskbird, check the following:
Open your phone's Settings
and make sure notifications are
enabled for the deskbird app.
In the deskbird app, go to the
Profile tab
and verify that your notification
preferences are turned on.
Make sure your phone is not in
Do Not Disturb
or Focus mode.
Ensure you are running the latest version of the app.
If the issue persists after checking
all of the above, try uninstalling
and reinstalling the app.
