Trying to find a colleague on office days shouldn't mean scrolling through an entire floor plan. The colleague search on the Book a space page lets any employee quickly check who's in, where they're sitting, and jump straight to their spot — all while fully respecting privacy and visibility settings.
- Find a colleague on the Book page
- Locate a colleague on the floor plan
- What you can see (and what you can't)
1. Find a colleague on the Book page
On the Book a space page, open the Colleagues tab (next to Bookings and Filters).
- Use the search field to look up a colleague by name.
- Colleagues you follow appear under Following, so you don't need to search for them every time.
Results are scoped to the office, floor, and date/time you currently have selected — so make sure you're on the right day and location before searching.
2. Locate a colleague on the floor plan
Each colleague in the list shows their desk booking for the selected timeframe. Next to their name, use the locate on map icon to jump straight to their spot on the floor plan.
💡 If an office doesn't have an interactive floor plan set up, colleagues are shown in a card view instead, with their booking details listed directly.
3. What you can see (and what you can't)
Colleague search always respects existing privacy and visibility rules. You'll only ever see people and booking details you're normally allowed to see:
- Private profiles
- Group-based visibility settings
- Anonymous bookings
- Restricted areas
If a colleague has a booking in an area you don't have access to, they still appear in the list, but without desk details — and the locate on map button is disabled for that booking.
