In deskbird, you can personalize how you receive notifications related to your bookings, hybrid scheduling, and interactions with colleagues. You can enable or disable email and push notifications using simple toggles in your profile settings.

1. Access your notification settings
Click your profile icon in the bottom-left corner of the web app and select Profile. Then go to the Notifications tab to see and manage all available notification types.

Schedule reminders
Enable a weekly reminder to plan your upcoming hybrid work week. You'll only receive a reminder if no schedule has been planned yet. You can toggle on/off:

Schedule changes
Receive a notification when a manager changes your schedule. You can toggle on/off:
3. Desks and parking spots
Calendar Invites
Receive a calendar invite for every booking you make. If you use the Slack app, you'll also receive it there. The email contains a .ics file that can be imported into any calendar. Events are created as free/available and do not block your availability. You can toggle on/off:
Check-in reminder
Receive a notification around the start of your bookings to avoid auto-cancellations. You can toggle on/off:

💡 Check-in reminders are sent when your booking starts. However, if your booking starts before the minimum cancellation time (i.e. the grace period's "applies from" time), the reminder is sent earlier — specifically, at the "applies from" time minus the grace period duration.

Receive a notice when your booking has been updated or cancelled. You can toggle on/off:

5. Follow requests
Get notified when a colleague requests to follow you or when they accept your request to follow them. You can toggle on/off:
6. 'No desks (or parking spots) available' notification
In rare cases where the automated booking system is unable to reserve a desk or parking spot, you'll receive an email notification with the subject line "No desks or parking spots available." This message indicates that all suitable spaces were already booked at the time the system attempted to create your reservation. If this happens, you may need to manually select an available desk or parking spot for that day.
💡 This notification cannot be turned off.
Don't forget to hit Save after adjusting your settings.
