1. Access your notification settings
Click your profile icon in the bottom-left corner of the web app and select Profile. Then go to the Notifications tab to see and manage all available notification types.
2. Booking notifications
Desks and parking spots
You can manage three types of notifications related to desk and room bookings:
- Calendar invites: Receive a calendar invite for every booking by email. If you're connected to Slack, you'll also receive it there.
- Check-in reminders: Receive a reminder to check in on time and avoid cancellations. Can be enabled for email, MS Teams, or push notification (through the deskbird mobile app).
Booking updates: Receive an email when your booking is updated or cancelled.
Meeting rooms
Calendar invitations: The booking confirmation for meeting rooms cannot be deactivated. It is always active.
Check-in reminders for meeting rooms: Receive a reminder to check in on time and avoid cancellations. Can be activated via email, MS Teams, or push notification (through the deskbird mobile app).
3. Hybrid work schedule reminders
You can enable a Weekly reminder to plan your upcoming week: Next week at (Office).
These reminders are typically sent via email on Thursdays at 4:00 PM (CET/CEST), but you can toggle on/off both Email and Push notifications (smartphone app) for this feature. You'll only receive a reminder if no schedule is planned.
4. Follow requests
Get notified when someone sends you a follow request or confirms one. You can choose to be notified by email or push notification (smartphone app).
Both options can be toggled on or off according to your preference.
5. 'No desks (or parking spots) available' notification
In rare cases where the automated booking system is unable to reserve a desk or parking spot, you’ll receive an email notification with the subject line “No desks or parking spots available.” This message indicates that all suitable spaces were already booked at the time the system attempted to create your reservation. If this happens, you may need to manually select an available desk or parking spot for that day.
💡 This notification can not be turned off.
Don't forget to hit Save after adjusting your settings.
