Your deskbird profile lets you personalise how you appear to colleagues and how the app behaves for you. You can update your name, photo, home office, language, and notification preferences all from the same place.

1. Open your profile
In the deskbird web app, click your profile icon in the bottom-left corner of the screen, then select Profile. This opens your profile settings menu where all personal preferences are managed.
On the mobile app, tap the Profile tab at the bottom of the screen.
2. Update your name and photo
In your profile settings, you can edit your first name and last name directly. Your company email address and company name can only be changed by your deskbird admin — contact them if these need to be updated.
To set or change your profile photo, click the purple camera icon on your initials (web app) or tap the circular icon at the top of the Profile tab (mobile app). You can upload an image from your device or take a new photo using your camera.
💡 If your company uses single sign-on via Microsoft, your Microsoft profile picture will be automatically pulled in the first time you log in.
3. Set your home office
Your Main office is the default office location used when planning your hybrid work week. To set it:
- In your profile settings, find the Main office field.
- Select your preferred office location from the dropdown.
- Click Save to apply the change.
This setting influences which office is pre-selected when you schedule days in the office.
4. Change your language
To change the display language of the deskbird web app, click the Language field in your profile settings and select your preferred language from the list. The interface updates immediately.

5. Notification preferences
Go to the Notifications tab within your profile settings to manage which notifications you receive and how. You can toggle email and push notifications on or off for:
- Calendar invites — receive a calendar invite (.ics file) for each desk or parking booking you make
- Check-in reminders — get notified to check in when your booking starts, to avoid automatic cancellation
- Weekly reminders — receive a prompt each week to plan your hybrid schedule if you have not done so yet
Click Save after making any changes.
