Our Booking Limits feature allows you to customize desk and parking spot bookings, restricting users to just one booking per day and time according to your preferences.
deskbird allows users to book more than one resource per day. The reasons behind this are that most of our users usually need to book more than a resource per day, i.e., both a desk and a parking spot, or, for instance, book their own desk and a desk for a new colleague who still does not have access to deskbird.
The logic is still valid, but we heard your feedback and decided to also enable admins to choose and customize the booking limit according to their company's specific needs.
How does it work?
The limit per resource type (desk, parking spot) is one per user. Users subject to Booking Limits can only book one desk and one parking spot in a given day, but not, for example, two desks and a parking spot.
In the event of a limit breach, both with single and multi-day bookings, users will receive a clear error message and visual indication of the specific booking causing the constraint.
Users can, of course, easily resolve the error or proceed.
The feature can be activated per office and applies exclusively to resource types categorized as desks and parking spots.
Only users with User and Group Manager roles are affected by the limits.
💡Guest bookings and bookings made on behalf of others are exempt from the imposed limits.
How can I activate it?
