Google SSO is available on all deskbird plans and requires no admin configuration. Users with a deskbird account on a recognized Google Workspace domain are automatically redirected to Google for authentication when they enter their email on the deskbird login page.
Domain association
For Google SSO to work, your organization's email domain must be associated with deskbird. This is typically done during onboarding. If your domain is not yet associated, contact your Customer Success Manager or support@deskbird.com.
How it works for users
Once the domain is associated, users who enter an email address on that domain at the deskbird login page are automatically redirected to Google for authentication. No separate deskbird password is required.
💡 If SSO is configured as the only login method for your organisation, this restriction applies to internal users only. External users (e.g. contractors) can still be added to deskbird and can use email and password to log in, as they fall outside your identity provider's scope.
